Novanis
[ ]Forest of Wolves (1 sub-board)
The land of Novanis is known particularly for its dense forests-perhaps what gives the land it’s ominous feel. The Empire’s lands may seem uniformly forested, but the ones who dwell in the Empire’s midst have separated the terra in terms of landscape. The Forest of Wolves is dubbed more so for its seemingly ethereal density, rather than its inhabitants. The boughs of the trees reach immensely high, and the scattered light which falls upon the forest floor is nothing impressive. As a result, the traversable areas present in the forest are shrouded in a low-lit glow. The forest is revered as the largest division in Novanis, bordering the whole of the land in a fence-like manner, and is quite easy to get lost among. As a result, it’s more so the kingdom’s first line of defence. And serves as a rather pleasant hunting ground.

[ ]Throne of Eden (3 sub-boards)
If one is fortunate enough to get past the natural barricade the Forest of Wolves produces, it’s easily observable that the land shifts almost abruptly-from dense forests to wide open fields almost barren of tree life. While some may argue the land was cleared in order to make it habitable, the Novians state the landscape changes naturally. Smaller in comparison to the other divisions of Novanis, the Throne of Eden is used as the Novian’s homestead, so to speak. Being of feral origins, their concept of dwelling areas differ greatly from a Human standpoint-most of the dwelling areas encompassing around their feral form’s natural habitat, but the Throne of Eden gives an obvious air of a community-regardless how abstract that idea may be.

[ ]Norequas Mountain Range (3 sub-boards)
The vast land of Novanis is completed by a rather small Mountain Range-or rather, the smaller Mountains are located within Novanis Territory. The Norequas Range, named after the Shifter race, is actually a shared range between Adaelis-and it’s most distinctive feature is not the mountains itself, but rather the fact that the Norequas Range houses the Novian Waterway-a part of the Alvanare Waterway which runs through the lands in a global manner. The dense forests return once more-but in a more muted manner. It’s obvious the most dominant feature remains the mountains, regardless how unimpressively small they may be.

The Norequas Range is also used for habitation-more so for the Aquatic races because of the large abundance of water, in addition to the waterway, and is also honoured as the Noble sector of Novanis-the higher castes of Novanis are found residing here.

Adaelis
[ ]Plains of Adaelis (2 sub-boards)
The south-western face of the Norequas Range leads to the first front of the neighbouring empire-the vast, open plains unfolding at the foot of the mountains are no longer Novanis territory, but as their name implies, usher the path to the empire of Adaelis. In the whole of Alvanare, it’s obvious Adaelis has been manufactured to suit the living conditions of the human populous that reigns in its midst-though the plains remains proudly untouched by human hands-scarce of any unruly vegetation other than grasses and a grand variety of shorter-stemmed flora, the Plains provide a natural, and rather scenic view of the territories before and beyond Adaelis. The Plains are a favoured training ground for hunting and warfare, along with the art of spellcasting by the mages present within Adaelis’ walls.

The Adaelis Waterway is also present, bordering the outer circumference of the plains.
00
[ ]Torvolaen Casal (2 sub-boards)
The largest division of Adaelis is, unsurprisingly enough, the main establishment of Human dwellings. Torvolaen Casal is the most architecturally diverse division in Alvanare, showcasing Humans as a dominant species in terms of craftsmenship. Strangely enough, however, the town is – regardless how massive it may be- not protected by a stone wall or something of the sort-presumably the protection of the neighbouring Novians seems to be adequate protection-as long as relations remain the way they are. The buildings of Torvolaen Casal are crafted primarily from a sleek blue-black rock called La’Kash-for establishments which are well-kept, the La’Kash is known to give an misty, iridescent glow when touched by Moonlight. It is, unsurprisingly, the most lavished common district in Alvanare.

Torvolaen Casal is a named in a systematic manner-“Torvolaen” dubbing the town, and “Casal” the name of the agricultural acres circumnavigating Torvolaen. To inhabitants of the neighbouring Empires, Torvolaen Casal is usually referred shorthanded as “Moonlit Sapphire”, in response to the La’Kash buildings.

[ ]The Castle Mount (3 sub-boards)
The beauty of the architecture of Adaelis makes up for-on a visual aspect- the lack of towering trees and unruly vegetation. While the main populous is situated on more flatter lands, the abodes of the nobility of Adaelis lies nestled in the midst of the larger crest of the shared Norequas Range-the shared face of the mountains are kindly dubbed the Castle Mount, in response to lavished abodes built securely in the Range’s midst. Of course, the grand faces of the mountains have been tampered with in order to make their surfaces more hospitable to their inhabitants, but whatever is left of their natural beauty is still observable-the Castle Mount, nevertheless, boasts the tallest mountains of the shared mountain range.

Queen of Adaelis:

Ter’Hamanis
[ ]Taisa Kamal (1 sub-board)
Heading southward from Adaelis another Mountain range is visible in the distance, though not part of the Norequas Range because an obvious obstacle lies in the way-the largest stretch of the Alvanare Waterway, dubbed Taisa Kamal.

Taisa Kamal is actually the name of the section of the waterway, though the neighbouring lands like to refer to Taisa Kamal rather as the docks which lead into the mainland of Ter’Hamanis. Taisa Kamal borders mostly the Northern face of Ter’Hamanis, tapered at the south-eastern front of the land, and is also the smallest division of the kingdom.

The Waterway freezes over completely over Winter and Spring, and while the notion may be a bit risky, it's possible to safely tread across the waterway by foot during this time.
00
[ ]The Shattered Canyons (2 sub-boards)
From the mainland comes an abrupt surprise in terms of landscape-a huge labyrinth within the tundra-like lands of Ter’Hamanis. They are the Shattered Canyons, named in respect to the appearance of the canyons themselves-numerous veins of black running about the many faces of the alabaster canyon walls, giving the visual illusion of being “shattered”.

The mass populous of the land’s own scarce flora is present most prominently at the foot of the deep, dry canyons, along with the residential establishments of the denizens of Ter’Hamanis. The establishments are predominantly crafted from pelts and dried skins of hunted game-otherwise, deeply intricate cave-like dwellings are also present. While the notion of such firms seems primitive, when observed, the district is rather advanced-Each dwelling is a work of art on its own, the workmenship of the community nothing less than awe-worthy. The Canyons are the dominant division, being the largest section of land present in the kingdom.

00
[ ]Ka'Rasa's Crest (3 sub-boards)
Moving further south from The Shattered Canyons is connecting stretch of land which brings one to higher lands of Ter’Hamanis-the great, wide red-and-white hued plains are littered with towering alabaster rock faces, and land that is much more easy to traverse than the Canyons themselves. The most dawning feature is the not the landscape, however, but rather the dwellings-Ka’Rasa’s Crest is branded Ter’Hamanis’ rich district, those of Noble birth found more readily in the Crest’s midst. Similar to the dwellings found in The Shattered Canyon, the establishments found in Crest are carved from natural substances-though you won’t find a hide-built dwelling here-Each and every home, including the Palace, is crafted from the highly attractive Ka’Rasa stone. And like the Canyon below, the workmanship on the dwellings are nothing less than glorious.

It’s rumoured that the rock faces of the dwellings are so well polished, that Ka’Rasa’s Crest glows in a ethereal white hue every night.

Barisca Tiala
[ ]The Crown of the Beasts (1 sub-board)
Barisca Tiala is conjoined almost perfectly to the land of Ter’Hamanis-in fact, were in not for the Crown of the Beasts, the two Empires are blended together with the utmost of perfection. The Crown of the Beasts is a Mountainous series of grassy hills-and while the notion of “grassy hills” may initially not be as impressive as one may think, the Crown of the Beasts is definitely a landmark worth remembering-the grand hills easily dwarf the Norequas range, and a much more intensive land to traverse over than the Broken Canyon of Ter’Hamanis. The vegetation is lush and dense, but trees are not present amid the Crown of the Beasts. Travelling deeper eastward, away from the neighbouring empire of Ter’Hamanis, one can also begin to notice a very distinguishing feature of Barisca Tiala-the humidity.
00
[ ]Kyra's Run (2 sub-boards)
As the massive projection of hills begins to decline, the mass of the tree population begins to dominate-ushering forth the entrance to an equally treacherous stretch of unequally set land dubbed Kyra’s Run. Named after a historical clan Empress, renowned for her unfathomable hunting skills, Kyra’s Run is a naturally created snare to inexperienced travellers-though the inhabitants, fleet-footed as they are, have learned to traverse the area with great ease. In fact, the heart of their clan’s dwellings are located here, congregated more so at the heart of the Tree-blanketed Run. Much like their neighbours in Ter’Hamanis, the dwellings are masterfully crafted by natural substances-pelts, hides, stones and plant matter, masterfully crafted to not only have a grand artistic flair to them, but also camouflage amid the setting. If an outsider is lucky enough to reach the Run in one peace, the sheer beauty of the dwellings would have them reconsider branding the locals as “savage”.
00
[ ]The Maker's Fountain (3 sub-boards)
The land commences to level off as one moves further east, and the vegetation begins to grow denser-but the humidity of the area is succumbed by a very simple substance-mist. It is only at the heart of the area that one finds the source of the mist-the last stretch of the global Waterway. Unlike the other empires, however, the water seems to trickle in a more calm manner-it’s not manifested in ranging rivers or open seas, rather, taking the form of a gentle-flowing, though abnormally large brook. The Maker’s Fountain also homes flora of its namesake, a plant that is native to Alvanare, the Maker’s Fountain-which glows in iridescent hues of silvers and golds during the night time hours. The higher ranking inhabitants are found residing here, in such masterfully hidden homes, it’s almost as if they’re not there.

Alvanare Outskirts
[ ]Sands of Laudanum
The change of landscape is vast across the whole of Alvanare, but one of the most unifying landscapes of the continent is its Outlands. Finding the outlands is no major chore-when one observes that the terra beneath their feet consists of red-hued sand, they've reached the Alvanare Outlands.

The Sands of Laudanum, as the early inhabitants had dubbed it in the past, is a gargantuan stretch of desert-blanketed in deep red sands. The Sands of Laudanum are notorious not only for its deadly heat and arid, dry weather year round, but also for its more-than-frequent sandstorms, many blowing about with ethereal force. It's needless to say, the Sands of Laudanum are usually dubbed "The Hell of Alvanare" as well.

Why venture the outlands? Most of the outcasts of society find refuge from their aggressors amid the Sands of Laudanum. It's also an easy pathway to reach another Empire-primarily because the Sands of Laudanum links all the empires together.

Furthermore, at the borders of the vast desert lies the Heart of Alvanare. It's rumored the Maker himself hovers about the area-if anyone survives the long trek it takes to get there.
00
[ ]Heart of Alvanare
Once thought to be the pedestal of the fountain of the Holy Substance which is now dubbed universally as Laudanum, historically its been revered the remainders of what once was the fountain, being nothing more than a large-bodies lake. While massive rivers and lakes form inside the body of Alvanare, the source of those waterways all sprout from the Heart of Alvanare.

Not only is the name historically relevant, but the Heart of Alvanare is dubbed also for pulsing the "life" of Alvanare-the global waterways throughout the continent. It's rumored the proportionally tiny 'lake' is shrouded with an prominently power source of Magic. Though...no one's really brave enough to find out if that rumor is true...
